Puerto Vallarta
Contributed by: Robin Worley on 5/13/2005

My wife and I recently went on a trip to Beautiful Puerto Vallarta, I must say it has an awful lot to offer. But stay away from the normal market area and find a small town or village to visit, we went to El Pitallal and loved it. Things are less expensive and the people are not as aggressive, but I must warn you about a few things. First of all take with you whatever it is that you will be eating and drinking, do not eat at foreign places unless you are accustomed. Second; traveling on public transportation, buses and taxis, can be quite nerve racking but the bus is less expensive and you see lots of interesting people. Third; learn some basic Spanish before you go or you will be as lost as a duck in a blizzard. Hope you go and have fun.
