Some of my most memorable travel experiences have been with women -- my daughter, my sisters and my best friends. We've been everywhere together, including a vintage trailer park in Arizona, canoeing the Colorado River, laying on a beach in Hawaii, and experiencing the sights of France and Italy by train.
I've had so much fun over the years as I traveled the world that I created City Lights Travel Club, to share my travel adventures with other women. It doesn't matter if you work or stay home, are married or single, have kids at home, kids away, or no kids at all. Participating in a City Lights Travel Club vacation is an opportunity to meet new women and hopefully make lifelong friends while experiencing other cultures and countries.
Our trips are carefully researched and designed with women in mind, taking into account safety, comfort, luxury and adventure. Trips allow for plenty of free time to do what each traveler prefers -- exploring, shopping, taking pictures, and more. Besides seeing the best of what each destination has to offer, City Lights Travel Club trips also include "behind the scenes" experiences, typically not available to the general public. With my 25 years of administrative experience, the trips I coordinate are well-organized, hassle-free, and enjoyable experiences! Women's lives often are so full of work and/or family obligations, that many don't take sufficient time to simply enjoy life.
City Lights Travel Club plans to host at least two trips per year -- one within the United States and one overseas. Currently, two trips are scheduled. The first trip leaves December 2, 2007 on a six-day "Southern Charm Holiday," including visits to Charleston, Savannah and the famous Jekyll Island. Travelers will experience the island's "grand cottages" once belonging to such notables as the Rockefellers and Vanderbilts, beautifully decorated for the holiday season. The next trip, departing on April 10, 2008, will be a special 11-day tour to explore fabulous Paris, picturesque Provence, and the fun-filled French Riviera. Travelers will dine inside the Eiffel Tower, take a special tour of the Orsay Museum, visit glamorous St. Tropez, and ride the rails to the French Riviera where they will visit Arles, Cannes, Nice and Monaco.
