Have you ever been at a bar, ran out of money... and really, REALLY needed more to drink? Well, these 2 guys (first photo) wont let anything stand in their way! Talk about problem solving.Observethe first photo. When your cash runs low, all you have to do is destroy some public property; and at your fingertips awaits an oasis of quarters.
I happened to be at a bar early last week with my wife when I witnessed this. As we all know, it is illegal to smoke in bars nowadays, so my wife and I stepped out front for a smoke. This is where I witnessed two gentlemen (who I thought had stepped out to smoke as well), obviously a little low on cash, being very "aggressive" with a payphone. They were spending a lot of time screwing with the phone and never once picked up the receiver. I decided to snap a few photos with my camera as a keepsake and for future reference incase I am ever in the same situation and need some cash. Just kidding.
After finishing our cigarettes my wife and I stepped inside, alerted bar staff, and left (I did stick around long enough to get their ugly mugs on camera and witness them pay for more drinks with
change). I wasn't sticking around since these 2 gentlemen were with a few other guys... and I really don't have any need to get jumped by 4-5 people, or place my wife in danger.
Anyhow, if you are ever in need of some extra cash, the payphone in front of Gary C's on Colfax (slightly west of Galena) is always an option. I suggest thinking twice about this though... you never know who might have a camera (or camera phone in my case). LOL.
What bums!
God bless you all, our troops, and this country.

p.s. The more time I spend in bars and the older I get, the more I am convinced that I don't want to spend anymore time in bars... humph, funny....
