Parenting..Parenting...Parenting!
Anyone who has been a parent knows that it brings both great rewards and challenging moments. This is my take on the life of being a being a parent, most of that time a single parent.....my struggles, my successes and everything in between.

Today has been an inquisitive day. I have been tossed a million questions by an inquisitive little mind. The more he asks, the more I wonder how much I miss of what is all around me. Is there a chance, that the older we get, the busier we become, the less time we take to stop and smell the flowers? I am afraid that I might be guilty of that sin.
I have to tell you, that some of the questions he usually tosses at me, I think I completely miss, but today's were extra thought provoking. What a curious little boy.
I am not sure if the cow that made the milk in our refrigerator lives in Colorado, or if he is brown or white, or has a bell. I didn't see the paper tossed on the porch so I can't tell you if it was a man or a woman who has such good aim, or if they use a giant rubber band, and I am not sure how many trees were cut down to make our paper but you are right maybe I should think of the only doing the on line version. I have not decided who I am voting for in the Presidential elections, but I am glad you think they both are interesting and over all probably nice guys. Yes, I am concerned that gas could cost 15$ dollars a gallon when you and your sister are bigger, and yes I do think riding a bike more places would be good for the environment, but sometimes I
have
to drive. No, I don't have a favorite I love you all the same, and yes you are the good one, at least right now! No, you little monster, there WAS television back in my day and yes it was in color.
What am I thinking about? Hmm, well I was thinking about how I was going to get the grass stains our of your baseball pants for your game tomorrow night, and yes I am very upset I have to go to class and miss the first play off game. Yes, I will be thinking of you the entire time even when the teacher is talking. No, my darling little boy, I did not know that those flowers are beautiful but smell awful, I guess I hadn't taken the time to stop and smell them. But thank you for warning me that the flowers you brought me are just to look at and not to smell.
I don't know the answer to all your questions, but don't ever stop asking me them. As a matter of fact don't ever stop asking questions at all.
