HubCap: What are we blogging about this week?
Contributed by: Brendan Leonard/YourHub.com   on 12/15/2006

Well, this week in blogs brought us a guy who shaved off his months-old beard, and chronicled the whole thing in photos, and regrets it. We also saw a guy falling and looking like a fool on telemark skis, and a certain lady from Castle Pines who will get her rebate on that copy machine, or someone's going to be sleeping with the fishes. And of course there were a lot of holiday-related blogs: memories, lights and parades. And, of course, Karin hates cats.

YourHub.com's Eric Lubbers shaved his beard. See the slide show.

Gladys Mercier
, of Arvada, shares her Christmas memories.

Syrenia Brooks
, of Denver, says college isn't for everyone.

YourHub.com's Kevin Villegas asks, " What's wrong with CU basketball?"

New blogger Steve Long, formerly of Colorado, joins us from Plano, Texas. I feel like he doesn't like it there.

Bill Boucher
, of Brighton, writes the Christmas blog that will make you go home and redo your Christmas letter. Or so one reader said.

If you offer Barbara Neff a rebate, she will get that rebate. Understand?

Jamie Wieland
, of Commerce City, wants to know why no one's been arrested in her brother's murder, nearly a year later.

Nick Bohnenkamp
, of Denver, spends his first day on telemark skis, desperately trying to look like he knows what he's doing. And failing.

Marcelo Duran
, of Denver, recaps this week's Real World Denver episode for those who missed it, or would like to hear someone else's version of it. Hint: There is alcohol, and drama.

Delmar Knudson
, of Denver, says you should " Grab your cash and move to Vail."

Jim Syring
, of Denver, reviews some of the things he's thankful for, including his house: "I've visited some primitive places in the world, including New Jersey, and learned there are many people in the world who don't have a roof of any kind over their heads."

Erin Di Paolo
, of Green Valley Ranch, says when it comes to Barbie vs. Bratz, there's no contest. I'm a Rainbow Brite man myself.

Kevin Murcray
, of Littleton, discusses his learning experiencecooking Thanksgiving dinner, the trouble of insuring a 134-year-old house and his new Myspace account.

Ann Himel
, of Littleton, gives us the " Top ten last-minute gifts for the college-bound."

Photog Joe McDaniel, of Parker, snapped some great photos of the lights in Parker. And somebody in Parker doesn't know how to park a truck. Joe was there to bust them.

Karin Malchow
, of Lone Tree, discusses dreams. And she hates both anchovies and cats, along with three other things.

Jennifer Coppola
, of Parker, discusses the differences in parenting between now and when she was growing up, in her blog, " Where Did All the Parents Go?"

Stephanie Blake
, of Parker, had a quite un-fun time at the Parker Carriage Parade. But she had a great time at the Reindeer Farm.
