Description:
The Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks is a nationally recognized, charitable organization which is dedicated to supporting Veterans, Americanism and the youth of our community.
With 54 Elks lodges statewide, the Elks sponsor an active Drug Awareness program, provide many Scholarships, sponsor a Basketball Hoop Shoot and Soccer Shoot program, for the youth of our community. These sports programs are held at your local schools open to children ages 8 - 13 years of age. Scholarships are awarded to high school students by individual lodges, statewide, and also at the national level.
Aurora Elks Lodge #1921 will hold a New Member Seminar on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. at the Aurora Public Library (14949 E. Alameda Parkway). This monthly meeting is open to the public. Visit with the Officers and Members of our lodge and learn how you can help with our many community projects.
Regular lodge meetings for Aurora #1921 members are held on the first and third Tuesday of the month, starting at 7:30 P.m. at our temporary home, BPOE Lodge Denver 17, located at 2475 West 26th Avenue, Denver, CO 80211.
