Award Winning Canine Partners of the Rockies Seeks Volunteer Puppy Raisers
Canine Partners of the Rockies, Inc. (CaPR) announced today it is looking for additional volunteer puppy raisers.
The base requirements for puppy raisers include raising the puppy for 18 months and attending scheduled training classes with other puppy raisers. Classes are held at the Canine Partners office and training facility located at 651 Potomac Street, Suite E in Aurora, CO.
Canine Partners is a non-profit Colorado organization and the recipient of the 2007 Denver Commission for People with Disabilities? Service Animal Award. CaPR is also recognized for creating a patch program with the Colorado Girl Scouts to educate girl scouts about disabilities and the supportive role of service dogs have in the lives of people with disabilities.
Canine Partners raises, trains and places service dogs exclusively with Colorado residents who have severe mobility limitations.
