Instead of spending their summer by the pool and hanging out, the Lord of the Hills Lutheran Church High School Youth Group will load up vans and caravan to Ocean Spring, MS on July 30th.
For 10 days they will live in Red Cross tents and work from sun up to sun down helping to rebuild homes for those who lost their homes in Hurricane Katrina.
Lord of the Hills Lutheran Church is located on Smoky Hill Road between Picadilly and Riviera. The 13 high schoolers and their Youth Leader, Kayla Aspeslagh are working hard now raising the funds necessary for their trip.
