Ballot Issues: A Primer on the 2008 Election


Come learn about all the ballot issues at Representative Karen Middleton's next Town Meeting. Monday, October 13, 7:00pm at the Aurora Center for Active Adults (formerly the Senior Center), 30 Del Mar Circle in Aurora.

There are 18 state ballot issues and 2 local issues. Bring your ballot if you wish!

We will do a quick rundown of all the issues on the ballot with a summary of each position, followed by public comment (proponents and opponents can sign up for 1 minute each). We are inviting citizens to bring literature and campaign information about all the ballot issues as they wish.

Sounds like a great way to separate fact from fiction. Thanks for offering this session and helping me decide how to vote.

What a great service. Colorado has the longest ballot in the country and this might help us to become better informed.

Thanks for providing the opportunity learn about this year's numerous ballot issues! Sometimes ballot language can be confusing.
