Rhoers a community youth group
Contributed by: Ollie Smith on 8/28/2006

Aurora community has new kids on the block. Young ladies in the ninth through twelfth grades from area high schools have come together to join the Rhoer Club. This club is sponsored by Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Incorporated, Theta Zeta Sigma Chapter, an alumni chapter in the Aurora/Centennial community to engage the students in community service projects. Young lady interested in this program must have a minimum Grade Point Average of 2.5. Graduating seniors are welcomed to inquire about the debutante interviewing process and eligibility for local and national scholarships.

This program has benefited young ladies in area high schools by participating in the Coats for Colorado project, Toys for Tots, Ronald McDonald House, Habitat for Humanity and other programs that the sorority has organized to help the Rhoers give back to the community and earn community service hours

Please email Ollie Smith, alumni member at thetazetasigma@yahoo.com or (303) 946-9070 for additional information.
