You may not know it but some of the best books are written by people who had no idea they had a book inside of them. Matter of fact is, the self-publishing industry has had phenomenal growth in the last few years as people seek to put their thoughts, tips, adventures, fantasies, experiences and teachings into a book.

Wondering if there's a book locked inside of you, consider this sampling of 'ifs" below.

If you know what you do like the back of your hand, then there's a book inside of you. If you're a whiz at bridge, then there's a book inside of you. If you're handing out stacks of paper at your seminars, then there's a book in you. If you taught your dog new tricks, then there's a book inside of you. If you built your own go-cart, then there's a book inside of you. If you had a miraculous or traumatic experience, then there's a book inside of you. If you've written awesome poetry, then there's a book inside of you. If you've taken some unique photos, then there's a book inside of you. If you dealt with the status quo and won, then there's a book inside of you. If you make up stories children love to hear, then there's a book inside of you. If you developed something beneficial to a niche audience, then there's a book inside of you. If you have a homemade remedy for healthy, shiny hair, then there's a book inside of you. If you know where to find the most exotic things, then there's a book inside of you. If you have the secrets to growing the perfect tomato, then there's a book inside of you.

Biscay Circle (just off Smoky Hill Road) in Aurora (80015). Select the time that best suits your schedule and RSVP for that time. Subsequent classes are TBD.

To register and reserve your seat, just email your name and contact number to bookwritersmuse@comcast.net. Reservations are first-come, first-served. You will receive an email confirming your reservation.

Please bring your book manuscript (or at least a chapter or a manuscript outline), a spiral notebook, pen or pencil, a book cover you think is great, and a 30-second pitch for your book. Also, feel free to bring a beverage. FYI: There is a coffee shop located in the Smoky Hill Library.
