What do you like most about living here? The beauty of the state, and the distinct change in seasons.

Interests and hobbies: Skiing, camping, running, hunting, CU football

People who inspired you: Teddy Roosevelt, he was a reform minded Republican and very invested in creating our parks and conserving our nation's lands; my wife, who always finds a way to be grateful.

How you have contributed to the community: I'm involved in the Commerce City Rotary Club and we have done many community service projects within our local area and around the world. Dearest to me is the Hearts and Soles program in which we provide warm shoes and socks for impoverished families in our community during the winter. I give back to my alma mater, CU Boulder as I'm involved with the Ralphie Handler's Program as a director.

What are the biggest issues facing your constituency now: The economy, rising gas and energy costs, and health care access and affordability.
