Cherokee Trail cheer camp

The Cherokee Trail cheerleaders attended the Universal Cheerleaders Association cheerleading camp on July 8th-11th at CU Boulder. Both the junior varsity and varsity teams brought home several awards.

The junior varsity team took home a Team Improvement Award and won Best Cheer in the junior varsity division of the camp championship. The varsity team brought home a Superior Team Award and won Best Cheer in the varsity co-ed division of the camp championship. The varsity team also brought home the Best Overall Team Award. Congratulations to both teams!

Seniors Megan Di Muro and Katie Sanders made the UCA All Star team and will have the opportunity to travel to London for the All Star Parade.

Members of the junior varsity team include: Shayla Franklin, Cheri Han, Kaylee Kennedy, Taylor Oliva, Brittany Morton, Domonique Pleasant, Cortney Ramirez, Lauren Ratliff, Angela Senethong, Corynn Slanina, Sade Starks, Aimee Wagner, Ali Wasserman, Danae White, Danielle White and Emily Wilson.

Members of the varsity team include: Kasey Burrus, Megan Di Muro, Alyssa Finnin, Madi Hadel, Torry Heiss, Tiffany Huntley, Sara Kvidahl, Nick Mastroianna, Courtney Munroe, Kelsey Mullikin, Chelsea Paschall, Jamie Paschall, Kelsey Rauh, Naomi Rotondo, Katie Sanders, Mandy Taylor and Sammie Zimmerman.

Both teams are coached by Amanda Graus.
