Music and lights at the Baxter Christmas display
Contributed by: David Baxter on 11/25/2007

For Halloween, the cursed pirate ship and its band of looters again took over the front yard of the Baxter house at 21073 E. Crestline Circle in Centennial (Smokey Hill and Picadilly Road).

Shortly after the pirate ship set sail for the last time, the Grinch and Snoopy appeared and they like the show so much that they will be sticking around until the New Year. It took 4 weeks to design, organize, and setup this year's display and included Snoopy and the ever popular Whoville and the Grinch.

The lights on the display dance to the music of ten songs. This is the third year that visitors could tune in to 93.9FM to listen to the music and watch the display from the warmth of their cars.

Snoopy and the Grinch may take center stage this year but the snowflakes, candy canes, reindeer, and the large green Christmas tree dance to the music to enchant young and old.

The 2007 Musical Dancing Light display is not limited to the Baxter yard this year as a neighboring house has been included in the Show.

Unfortunately, the picture of the display does not give it justice and seeing the lights dance to music in person is delightful.

This one is the best! I love to sit in my car and listen to the music while watching the dancing lights. Good job, David!
