The VETERANS' WIDOWS(ERS) INTERNATIONAL NETWORK, INC. VWIN,
which was founded in Denver in 1995, and whose membership now extends across the United States, wishes to announce that members of its national council will travel to Washington D.C. to meet with members of the U.S. Congress in order to discuss the following issues:
A national office solely dedicated to handle veterans survivors benefit inquiries.
The DIC/SBP offset.
The new survivor death gratuity benefit of $100,000.
A national day of recognition for all veterans widows(ers) each June 28.
The 10 years waiting period and,
The Vietnam Memorial Plaque on the Mall.
