Aurora Council Member Brad Pierce has been given the Environmental Steward Award for his personal efforts in promoting NOISE, the National Organization to Insure a Sound-controlled Environment.
NOISE presents the award to those members who have demonstrated dedication to the growth of the organization. An affiliate of the National League of Cities, NOISE is the oldest community-based aviation noise environmental organization in the country. Its members include communities and local governments throughout the United States that have joined together advocate responsible national public policy initiatives and effective mitigation programs to address aviation noise issues.
