Learn one way to help in fight against malaria Nov. 15 at Aurora library presentation

A local organization has taken on a big battle against one of the world's biggest health threats: malaria.

Find out how to be a part of their effort at "2009 Nets for the Amazon," a presentation scheduled at 2 p.m. Nov. 15 at the Aurora Central Library, 14949 E. Alameda Parkway. Admission is free.

Malaria infects between 300 and 500 million people each year, resulting in more than a million deaths annually, according to the Centers for Disease Control.

Dennis Cline of the Littleton-based Skeeter Beaters Foundation will share how to make a difference in one part of the world at this presentation, which is part of the Aurora Public Library's Power of One Perspective lecture series.
