I got an e-mail fowarded to me from the Traffic Department at the Aurora City Hall. They said they had it brought to their attention. So what appears in
YourHub.com does make the rounds in Aurora.
The pictures I've attached are of the two bridges / overpasses on Tower Road between Colfax Avenue and Smith Road along the Sand Creek Trail.
As you can see there's a fair amount of wear and decay on the columns. A lot of exposed rebar. What the pictures don't show are all the cracks along the top of the columns with large pieces just waiting to fall off.
I personally don't think there's any immanant danger for the bridges / overpasses. But I certainly don't think it would hurt to have a City Safety Engineer check it out.
