On May 23 at approximately 5:25 a.m. an unidentified adult male was struck by a 1991 Toyota Camry driven by 65-year-old
Robert Easley of Aurora.
State patrol investigators determined that the pedestrian was crossing the exit ramp at eastbound I-70 and Airpark Road.
Easley had apparently just exited eastbound I-70 to Airpark Road when the unidentified pedestrian crossed into his path, walking from north to south across the ramp.
An update will follow when the investigation is complete and the deceased is identified.
