Blizzard (ID #A 117957) is a young female short-hair rabbit. She enjoys people and likes being held and petted. Blizzard appears to have almost completely litter box trained herself while at the Aurora Animal Shelter, 15750 E. 32nd Avenue. Because Blizzard was placed in the animal shelter's night drop kennels, located on the SW corner of the building, little is known about her age or where she came from; but she'll quickly win you over with her charm. She is looking for family willing to spend time with her out of her bunny kennel so she can hop around and demonstrate her playful personality. Call 303-326-8280 for more information. SHELTER TIP: Bunnies cannot regulate their body temperature, which is why they burrow underground where temperatures remain constant throughout the summer and winter. Rabbits should
not be kept in outdoor hutches where they suffer from fluctuations of heat and cold and become easy prey for dogs, cats and neighborhood wildlife.
