Featured pet - Aurora Animal Shelter
Contributed by: Cheryl Conway on 7/24/2008

Frisbie (ID# A117810) is a purebred one-year old neutered-male Pembroke Welsh Corgi; the breed of choice for England's Queen Elizabeth. He was brought to Aurora Animal Shelter, 15750 E. 32nd Avenue, over a month ago, showing up one morning after being placed in the night drop kennels on the building's west side.

Frisbie still shows puppy playfulness and bursts of energy, but he's mostly a quiet and calm dog. He loves to snuggle and be petted. He will make an excellent playmate for a family with children.

Meet Frisbie in Kennel K40. You can immediately take him home upon adoption. License pets online and see photos & information of other wonderful adoptable pets at www.auroragov.org/animal.

SHELTER TIP: Dogs and their owners can swim in the Del Mar Park pool on Saturday, August 9th from 10 am to 1 pm. Admission fee is $10 per pet and one owner. Additional family members are $1 each. Dogs must be currently vaccinated, licensed, leashed (when they're not in the pool) and friendly. Need pet vaccinations and a license? Bring your dog and cat to the License and Vaccination clinic at the Aurora Animal Shelter on Saturday, August 2nd from 9 am to 1 pm. Call 303-326-8280 for more information.
