APS retirees honored at dinner celebration
Contributed by: Mary Margaret Rangel on 5/17/2007

APS recently honored nearly 130 retiring staff members with a dinner celebration. These dedicated staff members represent more than 2,600 years of experience and dedication to our students.

The Hinkley High School choir performed during the dinner, followed by remarks from Superintendent John L. Barry, Board President Matt Cook, and avid APS historian and former retiree John Dale.

"All of you represent the best that Aurora Public Schools has to offer our students," said Superintendent John L. Barry. "We will sorely miss your talent, experience, creativity and dedication."
