Celebrate at Aurora's 4th of July Spectacular

Fourth of July Spectacular, Aurora's sixth annual Independence Day Celebration, features the largest fireworks display in the metro area, live entertainment and a performance of patriotic music by the Aurora Symphony Orchestra. Fourth of July Spectacular takes place at the great lawn on the west side of the Aurora Municipal Center.

Limited seating is available on the Aurora Municipal Center lawn. The fireworks also may be viewed from surrounding areas. Best viewing locations include east of Potomac Street, south of Sixth Avenue, north of Mississippi Avenue and west of Buckley Road.

When: July 4, 2007, 8 p.m. (symphony begins), 9:30 p.m. (fireworks begin)

Where: Aurora Municipal Center, 15151 Alameda Parkway

Estimated Attendance: 2,000 in the lawn seating; 100,000 viewing the fireworks display from surrounding neighborhoods and parking lots

Activities:

Huge fireworks display (25 minutes)
Food and beverage booths
Patriotic concert by the Aurora Symphony
KEZW-AM 1430 will simulcast patriotic music throughout the fireworks display.
