Friends of St. Andrew help the less fortunate and is totally supported by charitable donations and volunteers. It is located at 1525 Dallas Street.Friends of St. Andrew offer the following services:
1.Hot lunches are served Monday through Friday, and the first and third Sundays of each month.
2.Provide 3-day food supply once a month to the needy of Aurora.
3.Provide funds to obtain Photo I.D. and Birth Cerificates to the needy of Aurora.
4. Provide money for prescriptions to the needy of Aurora.
5. Provide bus tokens to help those in need to go to job interviews; doctor appointments.
6. Provide vouchers to motels to house the homeless on the those extremely cold days. The City of Aurora has no homeless shelter.
7. Provide Christmas Stockings and Easter Baskets to the needy children of Aurora.
8. Just being there to listen and trying to help those in need.
We do not own the facility we are located in and must also pay rent; utilities, etc. We exist by donations and the work of volunteers.Our foods shelves are running low. We sure could use some help. Thank you.

St. Andrews is doing a wonderful job taking care of the homeless and the unfortunate of Aurora. The services provided by St. Andrews are not available from city or country agencies that is why St. Andrews deserves to be supported. John Herakovich Volunteer, St. Andrews Aurora
