Newsflash -- Pamela Anderson's Marriage Over!

Oh my God! I just turned on my computer and was aghast to find out that Pamela Anderson's marriage to Kid Rock is over! I was just totally, like, wow, shocked. I can't believe I am the only one. I mean, I thought this marriage, like all Hollywood couplings, would last, like, a year. Was I, like, wrong or what? It didn't even make five months!

I am just totally disillusioned with life now. I mean, first Britney and Kevin, now Pamela and Kid? What is the world coming to when we can't look to these people, who are so completely and totally in love, for inspiration and guidance regarding the institution of marriage? I mean, my role models are all gone now. Well, I suppose we always have Tom and Katie to fall back on.

But seriously, why in the world are we surprised at the demise of another perfect, match-made-in Los Angeles relationship? The reason why these people succeed so well in movies, television, and music is the very reason they can't seem to make it in lasting relationships. They are creative types, moody, artistic. And those types tend to struggle in everyday relationships. Just ask me...I tend to be one of those types.

Even so, I am still so discouraged by the news. Maybe I need to go drown my sorrows in an issue of People magazine.....Now that is the dose of reality that I need.

We should have a pool to see whose marriage will end next. My money's on Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore.

Yeah. Like. Bummer. Ya know? I was so hoping Pamela and Kid were the real deal. But we can always be thankful JLo and what's-his-name have lasted.
