My family: husband, Dick; sons: Andy, Jeff and Mike; daughters-in-law: Nicole and Amy; grandchildren: Quinn and Truman.
What I do: I'm the corporate secretary/treasurer for Loyd Hodge and Sons, Inc., a rental property ownership/management company.
My favorite place to hang out: At home with my grandchildren
What I like most about living here: the people
My interests and hobbies: Grandchildren, reading, travel
Favorite thing to cook: ravioli
People who inspired me: My mother. She was wonderful at turning lemons into lemonade, she was respectful of all people, and she was a great teacher.
Community contributions: I'm a great volunteer: 9Healthfair, hospital, historic society, and I'm a good legislator which involves listening to my community and representing their interests.
Biggest issue facing community: In Brighton it's the school over-crowding. In general, it's education, health care, transportation.
