(UPDATE, FEB. 26: Here's how my first day of newspaper delivery went...) I never thought I'd subscribe to a print newspaper again, the medium just doesn't suit me. I hate the ink on my hands, I hate that it's not searchable, I hate the waste of resources (paper, energy, etc.), I hate wrestling with huge sheets.
But I just decided to subscribe to the Denver Post -- solely so I can get the print edition of YourHub for Boulder. I figure, since I'm trying to really check out the YourHub model, I'm missing half the picture (from a business perspective) if I don't see what's in print.
And, as Travis Henry clarified when
I visited YourHub a couple of weeks ago, you can only get YourHub if you subscribe to the Post or the Rocky. Clever, clever....
Well, at least I don't have to get it every day. I signed up for the Sunday, Thursday, and holiday plan. The price seemed fair, for my purposes.
Anyway, my cats will be happy. You know how cats are about paper.
