Happy Thursday one and all. This last Cruiser Ride was amazing. It was Redneck Appreciation Day. It was great. Mullets, overalls, moonshine. It was just like being back in college again!
I wanna throw a special "thank you" to
Marco. He is the captain of that moving mass of bikers. He is the man with the music. I really appreciate his sweet bass- boosting mega sound system towed along behind his cruiser. The best part: he accepts requests. He even played some Daft Punk, just for me!
This Cruiser Ride really is amazing. It's a giant moving party. It is by far the cheapest way to have fun in Boulder on a Thurday night. It's like being at a bar: there are lots of people just out to have a good time ... only difference is that you are out in the fresh air with a nice cool breeze instead of a nice dank basement drinking 5 dollar beers and listening to music that's way too loud.
The cruiser ride consists of 2 ways to fit. You either gotta dress the part, or you better have a sweet bike. I've seen plenty of sweet bikes. Bikes with drum sets attached. Bikes that were double bikes, and bikes that light up every color imaginable. (I call those the "raver bikes." The others dress up. We all know how fun theme parties are -- especially redneck theme parties.) Well, this is a planned theme party every Thursday Night.
If you are in Boulder next Thursday, you should check it out. And if you have a bike, you should join the fun!
