Longmont, CO Absorption Rates:

Today I pulled Longmont, Colorado's absorption rate and saw a great example of where real estateis truly local.


Currently, Longmont has 5.5 months of inventory which is just starting to move into a market that is a Sellers market. What is even more interesting is when we compare thisto the 10 months of inventory available in August 2007. When Icompared the numbers for Boulder, CO, Nederland, CO, Lousiville, CO and Lafayette, CO the numbers were all very different and this is an are of only 25+/- square miles. This is an excellent example of why Buyers should work with a knowlegeable Real Estate Broker, one who truly knows the markets in and around the area. Reference below to see Boulder's very different statistics, only 15 miles from Longmont.
