CU basketball's
Brittany Spears got the season started right helping knock off
Missouri with a
70-58 win Wednesday. Spears pulled 24 of those points.
The 6-foot-1-inch freshman forward is currently the
Big 12 Rookie of the Week.
Teammate
Whitney Houston's showing on the board wasn't stellar, contributing 1 point. She was named most improved freshman last year and the 5-foot-five-inch guard came to CU with a state title and state MVP.
