What once was impossible is now quite pissable
Contributed by: Brit Horvat/YourHub.com   on 6/5/2007

I was digging through some old photos and schtuff in my room to further delay that thing we call MOVING OUT -- and came across some good old, fun-lovin BUSTswag that I had totally forgotten about.

I'm not going to beat around the bush here. It's a device that allows women to pee standing up. Successfully. And, in case you manage to aim wrong, it's waterproof. Sweet?

Ah, yes. The Magic Cone.

Are you ready to read the package with me?

"Magic Cone is a unique device made of biodegradable waterproof cardboard that allows females to urinate in standing position. Magic Cone is a perfect companion to be used in: public toilets, airplanes, discos, on buses, trains and boats, in schools, while camping, visiting funfairs, festivals, during pregnancy and after surgery."

WOW. If only I had brought my Magic Cone to the disco with me last weekend ...

While this is a pretty sweet invention (these were some of the many party favors that we gave away at one of the BUST parties in New York), I have mixed feelings about the "animation" that I stumbled upon online. If you so dare to experience this, oh ... go ahead. The photo of the six steps is enough of a tease.

Not many things disgust me. But for some odd reason I was offended by an animated woman lifting up her skirt to reveal her Pooh-like frontal private region that was non-existent. Blank. Empty. And just plain NOT there. (Talk about beating around the bush!)

I honestly gasped. First of all, I don't usually expect to see an animated person do such a thing. Secondly, I'm just confused. Are the makers of this product just sitting back and laughing? Do they honestly think that a woman can't figure this sh*t out on her own? And third --well, I don't know if I'd really want to see the realistic pubic region -- but it's the thought that counts, ladies. People are already blushing when they watch this. You might as well give 'em the goods.

And COME ON. If you're going to go as far as what these folks did, at least give it the graphic quality it deserves by adding some SOUND.

Well, see for yourself. While I will never be caught dead with one of these contraptions in my purse - you definitely can:

Visit www.magic-cone.com or call 1-905-597-0143.

It's the gift that keeps on giving.

This is fantastic. I can't believe I didn't see this until now. This actually would have been a lifesaver for me when my mom and I traveled through the Philippines. Brit knows the story.

I'm not sure if I should feel proud or bothered that I knew about this some time ago.

It's like the instructo-art that accompanies condoms. You would think that people would be able to figure these things out, but the fact that these diagrams and videos exist makes me think that maybe people aren't as smart as we would sometimes like to give them credit for. For more fun intstructo-art, check out www.instructoart.com.

I am at a loss for words. That was just plain disturbing.
