Blog Entry 1 of 9 Boulder Phil - Gala, Gala and More Gala!
This week is all about our ArtStrings Celebration Gala on Saturday, April 14th, 6 p.m. at the St. Julien Hotel. I recently sent the program to the printer and finished our live auction powerpoint presentation. I've been recruited to put together the packets for the auction items, which includes creating some of the gift certificates. The Gala also is the Finale of the ArtStrings Painted Violin Project. 15 artists from around the Boulder area created fabulous works of art using a violin as their canvas. If you haven't seem them, check it out on our website: www.boulderphil.org and click on the ArtStrings Violin logo. Also this week, our subscribers and ticket patrons are being mailed their 2007-2008 50th Anniversary Season brochures. We have a brand new look that we will be carrying over the rest of next season to celebrate our anniversary in style. I better get back to working on the gala. I would love to see you there! Tickets are $135 individual and $1200 for a table of 10. Please call our box office at 303-449-1343 x2 for tickets. Harry Potter benefits the Boulder Philharmonic?

The Boulder Philharmonic has teamed up with Barnes & Noble for a bookfair, a fundraising event! We have the week that the last Harry Potter book will arrive and vouchers are good for the entire week:

Friday, July 20th - Sunday, July 29th

We will also be at Barnes & Noble on Sunday, July 22nd from 11 - 2 p.m. with vouchers available, but again the vouchers are good the entire week!


This is a great way to benefit the Boulder Philharmonic and it is very easy :


1. Print out the attached vouchers

2. Bring in a voucher during the week of Friday, July 20th through Sunday, July 29th.

3. Bring your voucher to the cash register with your Harry Potter book or other purchase (CD's and DVD's are included - of course other book titlesare too!).

4. The Boulder Philharmonic will receive 10-15% of your purchaseas a donation from Barnes & Noble!
