I'm one of those people who never wins anything, so I'm really thrilled about this: Yesterday, I learned that
Go Boulder
selected me as its
2007 Car-Free Commuter of the Year!
Thanks to all the readers of this blog and my other YourHub friends who helped make this possible when
I asked
for your nominations.
I'm assuming I had some pretty stiff competition. The list of
last year's winners
is pretty impressive.
The bummer is that I'll be out of town on the date of the event where I would have received the award. I'm looking for someone to attend in my place --
Brendan Leonard
might go, which would be cool. But if not him, I'll find someone.
Anyway, thanks again for your support!
