It was the morning of the Fourth of July. My roommate (Cart Girl) and our friend
Kim
strolled out of the Delectable Egg in Denver. While "Cart Girl" dashed around the corner to deliver a nice, nasty surprise to the sidewalk and other passersby (seven shots of Southern Comfort from the night before, a shlew of other mixed, adult beverages and a few bites of omelette), I couldn't help but pull a double-take on this pair of pampered pooches sittin' pretty on the sidewalk and snap a photo. First off -- it's impressive. Second -- it's just plain bizarre. Third -- it strikes up conversation.
Everyone I've showed this photo to has been in complete and utter disgust. While I stand neutral, others seem to think this is absolutely preposterous.
What's your take?
(I personally have a hard enough time keeping up with my own toenails, let alone a fellow, furry mammal's.)

I've always wondered if poodles are embarrassed when they go to the park and see what other dogs look like.
