“Happy Hoopers” workshop to be held Aug. 8

What:	The city of Boulder's Parks and Recreation Department will offer a "Happy Hoopers" hula hooping workshop for ages 10 and over from 4 to 6 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 8 (World Hoop Day) at the East Boulder Community Center, 5660 Sioux Dr. The workshop is designed for the beginner and will cover hula hooping basics, including dancing, expression, "outflow" (opposite direction) and reversals. Hoops will be provided. The cost is $12 for Boulder residents and $15 for non-residents. To register, visit www.BoulderParks-Rec.org or call 303-413-7270 using class code 108221.
