Red Tent Events are gatherings for women to share, listen, strengthen, and empower each other with true, real stories of birth.

The testimonials about birth are videotaped and used as a "call to action" by presenting the tape to local key leaders to bring awareness to and influence change in local, national, and international policy on maternal healthcare practices.

Denver's Red Tent events are free and open to the public. Registration is required as space is limited.

There is a suggested donation of $5 at the door to raise money for the Mother's Milk Bank and the International Midwife Assistance.

At the Red Tent event, participants will have the opportunity to share their birth story, create birth art, be hennaed, participate in a Mother Blessing, and win door prizes from professionals and businesses in the community. Door prize entries are an additional $5 for 1, $20 for 5. All monies will go to benefit the Mother's Milk Bank and International Midwife Assistance.

Only those who agree to be videotaped will be.
