In this quiet practice, one learns to see the stillness inside, the radiant vibrancy of self. Learn the tools to continue your peace found by the ocean s edge... & bring your retreat back into your daily life. Through the tools cultivated in our daily gentle series of thoughtful movements & sweet meditations, the body is gently lifted & supported. The body, mind & spirit converge into the present moment, the experience of NOW ... Anjali Restorative Yoga is a radically nurturing restorative style of yoga. The practitioner is guided through a series of restful postures while being supported by bolsters, pillows, & blankets. A key component to the practice are the deeply affirming images & guided meditations that accompany the postures. During the time on the mat, the practitioner is given the permission to deeply feel the nature of the inner body while resting in the outer form. One feels old patterns, aches, & pains leave the body, as sensations of freedom & rejuvenation draw into the spaces left behind. The effect is calming, nurturing, & life serving. In addition to the beauty of restorative practice, Jane & Shannon will offer active classes in Anusara Yoga & Prana Vinyasa Flow from time to time during the week, as well as daily walking meditations on the pristine, protected three mile beach to facilitate the integration of this deep restorative practice. May your goal be the saturation of every cell with the profound prana that surrounds & supports Nosara Beach, Costa Rica.
