The second Annual Dancing with Boulder Stars willtook place Thursday, October 16 at at the Boulder Theater. Dancing with Boulder Stars is a fundraiser modeled after the acclaimed television show which has swept the country. Local celebrities are partnered with local dance instructors. After going through a 10 week rehearsal, they performed a ballroom dance live at the Boulder Theater. Audience members voted for their favorite dance contestant with $1 per vote.

Contestants included Mark Johnson KOA Radio and Voice of the Buffs; Charles Johnson, Former CU Football Star; Barry Cooper, Cooper Tea Company; Kathe Stainton, Four Star Real Estate and Development Company; Amy Hiett, The Alpine Group at Smith Barney; Liz Hanson, City of Boulder; Shari Tebo, Community Philanthropist.

All proceeds go to support the programs and services offered by the YWCA of Boulder County.
