Favorite TV show: I'm afraid I'm a channel surfer although I've particularly been enjoying HBO special programming like "John Adams", "In Treatment", etc. Also the Denver Broncos.

People who inspired you (and how): My parents. My father that was forced to help raise his brothers and sisters when his mother died during the great depression of the 30's, and my mother from Lithuania. She had her country invaded by Stalin on the day of her high school graduation and survived being in a nazi labor camp during the war.

How you have contributed to the community: Our office has a reputation for providing great public service and I am proud of our exceptional staff that contributes to that every day. On a personal level I am on the Board of Directors of "Peoplemaking of Colorado" a non profit that promotes family therapy education based on the work of Virginia Satir.

What are the biggest issues facing your constituency now: How to create a future that maintains the quality of life that we have come to appreciate and do it in a way that is sustainable and responsible for our next generation.
