The Red Door

I always wanted a house
a place all my own
with a scotty dog in the yard
a Zen garden out back
my meditation room
insence burning
Ganesh and Buddha
watching over me
the aroma of vanilla and coffee
paint
an intricate design
splashed over every surface
snuggled in front of a fire
writing my next line
the next chapter of my travels
and the red door
the entryway to my castle
