Gallagher makes Dean's List, Collegiate Scholars

Colin Gallagher, a 2004 graduate of Boulder High School, has been named to the Dean's List at Monfort College of Business at the University of Northern Colorado for the fall semester and has been nominated into the National Association of Collegiate Scholars. Students on the Dean's List maintain at least a 3.5 cumulative grade average, on a 4.0 grade scale. Gallagher, a sophomore majoring in accounting, has also secured an internship in Denmark, with Orlik Tobacco, has been accepted to do a semester at Sea for the spring 2007 semester and has received a $5000 scholarship for the RTDA national essay contest.
According to the college, Monfort students ranked in the top 5 percent of a nationally administered exit test for business schools this spring.
"The students we recognized have proven they can excel in a challenging academic environment," said Joe Alexander, dean of the Monfort College of Business. "Excellence in the study of business will serve our students very well as they continue to grow their intellectual capabilities and apply what they have learned in their professional pursuits. We are looking forward to further accomplishments from this well-respected group."
