Recognizing Representative Dianne Primavera

Rep. Dianne Primavera Lauded by Colorado Conservation Voters

"Environmental issues are a top priority in Colorado, and it is of the utmost importance to protect our wildlife, water, air, and unique way of life," says State Representative Dianne Primavera (D-Broomfield). And we all agree.

Representative Primavera, an avid hiker, dedicated mom, and attentive legislator, was named "2008 Conservation Champion" in recognition of her environmental leadership by the Colorado Conservation Voters (CCV).

The annual recognition is given to legislators who achieve 100 percent scores on CCV's Legislative Scorecard and display leadership on environmental issues as conservation champions. The Scorecard provides nonpartisan, factual information about how each member of the legislature voted on a range of conservation issues.

"It is an honor to be recognized for my conservation voting records,"adds Representative Primavera. "Sound conservation policies are a necessity to our state's future, and we made great strides this session."
