Cinderella Captures Hearts
Contributed by: Jamie Johnson on 5/14/2008

Boulder Ballet presented its third annual Mother's Day production - Cinderella this past weekend. The production, with all new costumes, was created especially for the Boulder Theater venue. Sunday's performance was attended by record numbers. Attendance exceeded goals by triple.

Many families found it to be the perfect Mother's Day outing. Not only did the mothers get a chance to be swept up in the fairy tale, but their childrens' princess costumes from Halloween got to be worn again!

Some families participated a newer offering of the Boulder Ballet. This year Boulder Ballet teamed up with the 14th St Grill for special Brunch and Ballet packages. Families dined at the 14th St Grill and then strolled the ½ a block down 14th St. to the performance at the Boulder Theater. Many people mentioned that it was a tradition they would like to continue.

Be sure to catch Boulder Ballet's free season closing performance offering, "Sunday in the Park", which will be performed in various locations in and around Boulder. Go to www.beyondballet.com for more information.
