This year, Boulder Creek Events is starting the Festival weekend early by featuring a free concert at Twenty Ninth Street Mall! Stop by the kick-off concert at the mall on Friday night and enjoy entertainment by Nina Storey, great food, Boulder Beer, margaritas, and plenty of free parking! Friday, May 23, 6:00-10:00 p.m., Twenty Ninth Street Mall (corner of Canyon and 29th Street)
In addition, Boulder Creek Events is proud to announce the new Tweny Ninth Street Live! Summer Concert Series. While the sun dips below the Rocky Mountains, the lights go up at Twenty Ninth Street Mall on Saturday nights this summer! In addition to the best live outdoor music in Boulder, the concert series will also feature plenty of free parking, lots of great restaurants and shopping, and the best sunset in Boulder. Come rock, swing, and jive at "Twenty Ninth Street Live!" Saturday nights this summer from June 21- Aug. 9, from 6-10pm
And, of course, don't miss the 21st Annual Boulder Creek Festival this Memorial Day weekend in downtown Boulder: May 24-26, 2008. For over twenty years, the Boulder Creek Festival has been the unofficial kickoff to summer in Boulder each Memorial Day weekend. Widely considered Boulder County's favorite event, the Boulder Creek Festival includes three days of festivities featuring a large variety of events, activities, food and entertainment unique to the Boulder community. Ten separate event areas with 500 vendors showcase everything from community arts and crafts to health alternatives and technology while five performance stages feature a spectrum of music and dance. The Festival is free to the public and features something for everyone: carnival rides, food and beverage vendors, and the signature event on Monday--the Great Rubber Duck Race!
