UNCONSCIOUS MAN RESUSCITATED
Officers responded to the public bathrooms at 2000 13th Street on June 1 on a report of an unconscious man. When police arrived, an officer began CPR and was able to resuscitate the man, a 53-year-old transient. The man was taken to Boulder Community Hospital for treatment. Paramedics told police that had it not been for the officer starting CPR, the man likely would have died.
WOMAN REPORTS INTRUDER
Police responded to the 2400 block of Spruce Street on June 1 on a report of an intruder. A woman in her 20s told police she woke up and found a man crouched at the foot of her bed. The man ran from the residence and was gone when officers arrived. Nothing appeared to have been taken from the woman's home. The case remained under investigation at the time of the report.
MAN ATTEMPTS TO ROB RESTAURANT
Officers responded to Subway, 4550 Broadway on June 2 on a report of an aggravated robbery. An employee said a white man wearing a skull cap and hoodie entered the location, displayed a three inch serrated knife and asked for money. The employee picked up the phone to call police and the male left the store. Police were unable to locate the suspect.
MAN ARRESTED ON SUSPICION OF ASSAULT
Boulder Police arrested a man on suspicion of second-degree assault and false imprisonment June 5. The suspect is accused of attempting to strangle his girlfriend and preventing her from leaving his apartment in the 700 block of 10th Street.
FIRE REPORTED
Firefighters and officers responded to a structure fire on the 1300 block of Toetdli Drive on June 7. Firefighters were able to extinguish the blaze, which started in between the garage and the house fairly quickly. The cause was under investigation at the time of the report.
