County seeks input on draft regulations
Contributed by: Patricia Demchak on 2/25/2008

The Boulder County Land Use Department has been circulating a set of regulation options that the County is considering as part of an effort to revise the current land use code as it relates to short-term vacation rentals in unincorporated Boulder County.

Property owners and affected neighbors who have an interest in the issue of private homes being rented out on a short-term basis - or more frequent basis than what is currently allowed under the county land use code - are being asked to weigh in on these recommended options.

When: 6 p.m., Tuesday, March 11, 2008

What: Public Meeting on draft regulations for a new land use code designation of Lodging in a Dwelling (i.e. Vacation Rentals)

Where: Boulder County Courthouse, 3rd Floor, Public Hearing Room, 1325 Pearl Street, Boulder

Presentations and handout materials are available in PDF Format on the County's Land Use Web site at: www.bouldercounty.org/lu.

While new regulations are being drafted, the County has issued a stay of enforcement on existing regulations for short-term rentals.

To provide feedback or to seek additional information on this subject, please visit the County's Land Use Web Site at: www.bouldercounty.org/lu or email Abby Janusz at ajanusz@bouldercounty.org
