Contributed by: Pat Monacelli on 2/27/2008

Boulder County will receive a total of $137,173.00 to supplement emergency food and shelter programs in the two counties.

A Local Board will determine how the funds awarded to Boulder County are to be distributed among the emergency food and shelter programs run by local service agencies in the area. The Local Board is responsible for recommending agencies to receive these funds and any additional funds available under this phase of the program. The Local Board is chaired by Foothills United Way and includes representatives of local government, local faith communities, the American Red Cross, the Boulder Shelter for the Homeless and Community Food Share.
