36 Commuting Solutions is accepting applications to 36 Commuter CASH, an incentive program that pays U.S. 36 commuters who currently drive solo to work when they choose to "make the switch" to a cleaner commute option such as bicycling, carpooling, riding transit, teleworking, vanpooling or walking. Participants can earn $2/day, as much as $120 in a 90-day pledge period.

Since July 2008, the program has attracted 345 participants who have reduced vehicle miles traveled (VMT) by more than 220,000 and reduced more than 216,000 pounds of carbon emissions!

36 Commuting Solutions has a goal to recruit 665 participants and reduce 15 million vehicle miles traveled over the long term.

36 Commuter CASH is a turnkey way to save money, relieve stress and reduce existing traffic congestion on U.S. 36.
