Easter is coming, and Spring is blooming. More of our thoughts turn to flowers, and many people are ordering floral arrangements to celebrate the season. With the additional approach of tax deadlines, many Americans are reflecting on how much they've spent, as well as how much they've given to charitable organizations. What if there were more ways to know your shopping is also helping a charitable cause?
Now, there's at least one cause you can help through your shopping. This season, you can give friends and loved ones a bit of spring cheer while also providing support for homeless cats and kittens. With the warm weather, more cats are appearing outdoors. As a result, many un-spayed mothers and their new kittens end up homeless and are left to fend for themselves and their litters. Some of the more fortunate of these feline families have made their way to Almost Home Adoptions for rescued cats. Almost Home Adoptions is seeking tax-free deductions to continue with their efforts. As kitten season begins, the volunteers at Almost Home Adoptions are sheltering and caring for countless kittens who have become homeless and need human help to survive.
Almost Home Adoptions has recently joined iGive.com, a service that allows organizations like Almost Home Adoptions to benefit from the purchases of online shoppers. Individuals who shop through iGive merchants can choose their favorite charity, such as Almost Home Adoptions for rescued cats, and a percentage of their purchases will be donated to that organization.
This is a perfect time of year to give while shopping, in celebration of the Easter season. iGive.com has fifteen online florists, as well as several gift delivery services, that can help make that Easter shopping more fun. Additionally, up to 26% of each purchase will be donated to Almost Home Adoptions for rescued cats when you shop through the iGive mall. Visit http://www.iGive.com/AHArc to start your Easter shopping, and you will be helping the "furbabies" at Almost Home Adoptions with your gifts, too.
Almost Home Adoptions is also looking for donated supplies that will help its volunteers care for the growing population of homeless cats and kittens this season. Donations are greatly appreciated and may include high-quality dry kitten food, paper towels, KMR kitten formula, baby blankets, gently used towels, small paper plates, bleach, or clay litter. By remembering Almost Home Adoptions when you shop, you will be helping save the lives of countless kittens and cats this season.
Almost Home Adoptions is a non-profit, cage-free, volunteer, donation-based, no-kill organization that dedicates time to saving endless amounts of homeless cats and kittens. All of these animals have been tested for FeLV/FIV, vaccinated, and most importantly, spayed/neutered to help control this nation's pet population and prevent the senseless euthanization of animals due to lack of shelter space. In addition to adoptive families, we are also looking for volunteers to help out at the shelter and/or foster the young, sick or injured. Almost Home Adoptions for rescued cats is located at 7713 W. 92nd Avenue, Westminster CO 80021. Please call (303) 432-2299 or visit the Center's website www.almosthomeadoptions.com for more information. And of course, monetary donations are always welcome and greatly appreciated.
