Photo Essay: Obama 45 years after King's dream
Contributed by: Stan Dyer on 8/29/2008

August 28, 1963, during the March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom, Martin Luther King, Jr. took to the steps of the Lincoln Memorial and gave his most memorable speech. Now, 45 years later and with the same urgency of the moment, Barack Obama took to these new steps repeating how we cannot walk alone. His speech outlined our new hope. It is now clear that this is our chance to once again let freedom ring, and, from eight years of Bush, we will be free at last.
